BEIJING — There were 349 COVID-19 patients still being treated on the Chinese mainland, including 12 cases in severe condition, the National Health Commission said on June 22.

Altogether 78,413 patients had been cured of the disease and discharged from the hospital by June 21, the commission said in its daily report.

As of June 21, a total of 83,396 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, among whom 4,634 had died of the disease.
