State Councilor and Defense Minister Chang Wanquan met Armenia Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan in Beijing on Sept 4.

Chang said China is willing to take the Belt and Road Initiative as an opportunity, working with Armenia to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of states.

He also hoped to strengthen the friendly exchanges between the armies of both sides and deepen cooperation in personnel training and other areas.

Sargsyan said Armenia appreciates China’s help over the years and is willing to reinforce military exchanges with China to expand relations.
