China to extend anti-dumping duties on imported photographic paper from EU, US and Japan

BEIJING — China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced on March 22 that it will continue to levy anti-dumping duties on photographic paper imported from the European Union, the United States, and Japan.

The MOC said in a ruling that importers of the products will have to pay anti-dumping duties with Chinese customs at a rate ranging from 23.5 percent to 28.8 percent, the same with the levels set in 2012 and 2016.

The anti-dumping measures will continue for another five years beginning March 23.

The latest decision follows a review that found the domestic industry would be harmed if anti-dumping duties were terminated.
