Premier Li Keqiang inspected the old Fushougou underground drainage system in Ganzhou, Jiangxi province, on Aug 22.

Built during the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), the underground drainage system is still in use today.

The longevity of the drainage system shows China’s solid urban underground infrastructure construction. High-quality underground pipeline facilities that can stand the test of time should be built when constructing urban infrastructure, the Premier said.
