Premier Li Keqiang met with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Zhengzhou, Henan province, on Dec 15, saying the meeting will strongly promote bilateral friendship and pragmatic cooperation.

The Premier said Sharif is an old friend, and Pakistan is also a very important friend of China.

The visiting Pakistan prime minister attended the two-day 14th Meeting of Prime Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which opened on Dec 14.
