Market entities created by the people are full of energy, and government services should target the needs of the market and people, Premier Li Keqiang said while joining a panel discussion on March 4 with advisers from the China Democratic National Construction Association and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce who attended the second session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the country’s top political advisory body.

The Premier hailed the dramatic improvement in business environment in recent years, but he said there are still many things to do, such as further reducing the time for approval.

The next step, the Premier said, China will continue improving business environment, especially in terms of enhancing fairness in supervision, to create a level playfield for all kinds of market entities.
