The Yellow River, the second-longest river in China, flows through nine provinces and autonomous regions across China with a length of over 5,400 km. With an improved environment and prosperous tourism industry, villagers living along the Yellow River in Shanxi have seen new hope. Many people who once worked in other places for better living conditions and payments started to come back home.
