The State Council announced a reshuffle of some senior government officials on Oct 13.

Xia Mingjiu was named deputy head of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, while Zhang Yali was removed from the post.

The State Council removed Zhang Lebin from the post as deputy head of the State Administration for Religious Affairs.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yujun was stripped of his post as assistant chairperson of China Securities Regulatory Commission.
