The painting is 50 meters long and 30 meters wide. It was created to commemorate the Yushu earthquake, which hit the city on April 14, 2010, leaving nearly 3,000 people dead or missing. The Buddha canvas plays a role in traditional prayers for peace and a better life for local people.[Photo/for China Daily]
